Calming Collars

Picture
Patented Calming Collars are filled with a blend of natural herbs. The blends were specifically developed to help with certain conditions, like excessive barking, hyper-activity, stress, anxiety and fear due to loud noises, storms and thunder (thunder phobia), separation anxiety and more!

These fabric collars are handcrafted and are filled by hand with a precise, measured amount of dried herbs. Your order will be custom made and shipped quickly, usually in less than a week. The plastic buckle allows you to adjust the collars for a perfect fit!

By using the coupon code: ADOPTAPET on your order you will receive a 10% discount and Calming Collars will donate 10% to our rescue.   It's a winning situation for everyone!

ADOPT ... DON'T SHOP

We rescue dogs and cats from certain death at local pounds and puppy mills and take in abandoned animals.  After providing superior veterinary care the animals are placed in a loving foster home where they are well socialized and cared for.  Once they are assessed and ready for their forever family, Kathi and the foster home consider each application to find a suitable match for each animal.   We are very proud of our outstanding record of successful adoptions and are committed to maintaining it.  This is good news for both pets and humans - keeping the animal's best interest as top priority means that the pet will be not be placed with someone that isn't a great match, which also benefits our applicants!   We keep all animals in foster care until their wonderful match is found.  That being said we do try to place animals with appropriate applicants in a timely manner in order to take on other animals in need.   Thank you for visiting Adopt-a-Pet.  We hope to hear from you soon!

The Adopt-a-Pet advantage is clear:  well socialized pets who have received excellent veterinary care, matched with their ideal family at a very reasonable adoption fee!

Featured Dog: Keilee

Picture
Keilee is a senior Olde English Bulldog who lived as a farm and breeder dog at a puppy mill.
She lived outside in the elements so long that her ears swelled shut and her skin started to rot around her tail wrinkles. She went blind in one eye because of untreated dry eye and has developed glaucoma in the other. Thankfully with laser treatments the fostermom was able to reopen her ear canals. With prescriptions and skin scrubs her skin has been repaired. With daily eye drops her eyes are no longer in agony. Despite all this hardship and disfigurement to her body from years of overbreeding, her temperament is marvellous.  Everyone she meets is an instant friend. She immediately offers to shake a paw or give a kiss. Her foster home is a horse ranch with children attending daily with learning and social disabilities and she is each child's faithful friend.
She needs a home willing to overlook her physical appearance and cherish her temperament and companionship.

Please see her on her adoption page: http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/21079269

The rescue welcomes any donation for the extensive treatment she required when she came to us, no matter how small.
